Types of Roofing

ASPHALT SHINGLES
Architectural asphalt shingles are some of the most widely used roof coverings in the world. This is primarily due to their relatively inexpensive up front cost, and ease of install. Despite their lower cost it is worth nothing that these shingles do provide a wind resistance of 130 MPH. That is enough to fend off up to a category 3 hurricane. For more information please refer to your sales representative.

CONCRETE TILE
Concrete tiles are available in a number of different profiles. These profiles include flat tile, and several styles of barrel. Depending on the type of profile/installation method selected tile roofs can sustain winds of up to 265 MPH. For more information on tile roofing systems please refer to sales representative.

STANDING SEAM METAL ROOF
It is no secret that the popularity of metal roofs are on the rise. In fact here at Durabilis Roofing LLC it is safe to say that half of the roofs we do are metal. Standing Seam metal roofs (also known as hidden fastener roof systems.) provide tremendous benefits to homeowners willing to make the investment. Some of these benefits are energy efficiency, longer roof life, and low maintenance roofing system. Panels are available both in .26/.24 gauge.

5V CRIMP METAL ROOF
Just like standing seam roofing systems, 5V crimp (exposed fasteners) panels can give homeowners some of the same benefits at a lower price point at the expense of some maintenance down the road. The maintenance will consist of replacing rubber washers and screws that with time will deteriorate under the Florida sun.
